Is the Tri-County Intergroup Alcoholics Anonymous?

No. While adhering to AA’s 12 traditions and 12 concepts and primarily serving AA groups in our area, the Tri-County Intergroup is an independent 501C3 non-profit organization (requiring substantial revenue to operate), and is not an AA group, nor part of AAWS, or GSO.

How can our group participate in the intergroup?

There are many ways to serve at the intergroup. Each month, participation at the intergroup meeting on the second Thursday at 6;30 pm, is a great place to start. Also, volunteers are always needed to answer the phones, help with our newsletter, and participate with the activities committee. Normally, an IR/secretary from your group would attend the intergroup meeting, sharing information between the intergroup and your meeting, financial reports, literature reports, and events from throughout our districts.
